THE REAL QUEEN OF HEARTS AIN’T EVEN PRETTY
The Johnson High School Theatre Department is proud to present Brad Bailey’s hysterical comedy, The
Real Queen of Hearts Ain’t Even Pretty November 1—3 at 7 p.m. and November 4 at 2 p.m. in Johnson’s
Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $6 presale and $8 at the door.
Set in Double Springs, Alabama in 1976, this poignant comedy displays razor-sharp wit and satire
through its four female characters: Liz—the “queen bee” cheerleader; Cass—the insecure, incurable
follower of Liz; Paula—the girl who is neither popular nor unpopular; Sherri Lee—the goody goody
pageant queen with a secret. When it comes to the annual Queen of Hearts pageant, the girls’ true
colors come out. Don’t miss this terrific production….a 1970’s version of Mean Girls!
