Soccer
Johnson’s soccer program took part in the Fincke Cup against Reagan high school on February 19.  The girls’ team started off the competition strong and won by a score of 4-0 to give the boys’ team a 4 goal cushion heading into their game.  The goal scorers for the girls game were juniors Victoria Herrera, Tiana Soulas, Nia Stallings, and Madison Amaro.  Once the boys took the field the game was gridlocked at 0-0 until the second half when Reagan scored off of a penalty kick.  This goal would be the only goal scored as Reagan won the game against the boys, but could not overcome the 4 goal aggregate. Johnson won the Fincke Cup, and the scholarships were awarded to Paco Garcia and Adriana Garcia.
