U.S. Representative Lamar Smith and a panel of law enforcement and security experts will host a meeting open to the public to discuss important topics such as active shooter scenarios, school emergencies and natural disasters. The meeting will be on campus on Wednesday, Oct. 19 beginning at 6:45 pm in the auditorium on campus.
The Bexar County Sheriff and leaders from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas School Safety Center, Texas Highway Patrol and the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center will be part of the presentation.
Following the panel there will be a Q&A period for audience members.
