If your a spirit member, January 29th and 30th have been in your sights for a while now. The past 2 weeks have been work, work, work, perfecting routines for the annual OSS show case. Now, for anyone outside of spirit, sophomore Rebekah Trujillo explains OSS.
“OSS stands for One Singular Sensation, and its where all the spirit groups in NEISD come together and each perform and show off our routines,” Trujillo said.
There are 3 shows this weekend, Saturday at 3pm and 7pm, and Sunday and 3pm, at Blossom. Tickets are $6, and can be bought at the door, or from spirit directors in the dance room.
Each show is around 2 hours, and you won’t be disappointed.
“We have really long and hard practices, like on weekends and after school,” Trujillo said.
Johnson’s Dance and Drill teams will be participating, as well as Cheer and Pep Squad. They will be performing their competition routines, including Dance’s Kick routine, and Drill’s Military routine, and Pep Squad’s Pom and Military routines.
“I’m excited because it’s the first time Johnson Belles is being show cased to the whole community,” sophomore Leah Alonzo said.
