The Johnson High School Feature Twirler, Ashley Mucha, has been selected as one of two feature twirlers for the Texas State University Bobcat Band for the 2011-2012 season.
Mucha auditioned this past weekend at Texas State against stiff competition and defeated some of the returning twirlers to earn her spot. This is an incredible honor for an incoming freshman, and a testament to her hard work, talent, and dedication.
Mucha has represented Johnson as Feature Twirler since the school opened in 2008, and has performed as a trombone player in the Varsity Marching Band, Symphony Band, and Wind Ensemble.
