Businesses are making their way to San Antonio, some for the first time, and others adding onto their existing locations. These new restaurants and stores are opening all around the city, bringing happinesses, coffee, and clothing to the people of San Antonio.
Dunkin’ Donuts-
The worldwide leaders in the coffee and baked good sales, Dunkin’ Donuts has made its way to San Antonio, and is now opening their fourth location. The new shop will replace the Dickies Barbecue Restaurant at 3107 TPC Pkwy. The opening date for this location is unknown.
H&M-
The clothing store is debuting its first San Antonio location at The Shops at La Cantera. Already having eight stores in Texas, one in Austin, five in the Dallas area, and two in the Houston area, H&M is fulfilling its plan to expand its presence in the U.S.
The San Antonio location will occupy 27,000 square feet in total. The store will feature H&Ms collection for men and women, and also include a separate store-within-a-store, consisting of accessories, maternity wear, sports apparel, and its plus size line.
The store is set to open in the summer of 2014.

Top Golf-
Top Golf is a sports entertainment facility that features a golf game that uses micro chip technology inside golf balls that are shot into several targets to score points. The facility is the only one of its kind, and offers competitive golfing games for people of all ages, as well as a laid back ambiance with flat screen TVs and a variety of foods and drinks.
The San Antonio location will be located across I-10 from Fiesta Texas and La Cantera. This new location will be Top Golfs 15th location worldwide and the seventh location in Texas.

Walmart-
Walmart is planning on opening one of their smaller format stores on the Northeast Side, adding to the already existing 19 Walmarts. This store will be located at the intersection of MacArthur View and Nacogdouches Road. This location is considered one of Walmart’s “neighborhood Markets”, and will focus mainly on standard groceries. Because it is a neighborhood market instead of the typical supermarket, this store will only occupy about 41,000 square feet on the intersection and employ about 95 employees, which is one fourth of the typical amount.
The Neighborhood Walmart should open in early 2015.
Golden Chick-
A new Golden Chick restaurant is coming to San Antonio and will be located at 22010 N Hwy 28. The fast food chain already has three locations in San Antonio, and this new one will be their fourth.
