Its finally happened the ultimate superhero movie has come out, The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. If you haven’t sense the first Avengers, Captain America 1 & 2, Thor 1 & 2, Iron Man 1-3, and Gardens Of The Galaxy then don’t see this movie. You will be lost. I recommended you see all of the previous Marvel movies before you go see this because all the movies are connected.
Back to the review- The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is a nerd’s dream. It has several hidden references to the comic books and the previous movies, I myself picked up on some but the rest are hidden very well. References from Gardiens Of The Galaxy, Captain America 2, and even movies that haven’t even come out yet. Movies like Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, and even The Avengers: Infinity War. I know there’s a lot more than that but those are the ones I caught on too by myself, director Joss Whedon loves his easter eggs so keep your eyes and listen carefully so you don’t miss anything.
The Avengers: Age Of Ultron also does not fall short on the action. If you want some over the top action this movie is for you. But over the top action means a lot of CGI, but it’s ok because this movie wasn’t made for a made by amateurs. The CGI is on point the whole movie.
But every awesome action movie needs an awesome villain and Ultron may be the best. Watching Ultron come to life is one of the best scenes in the whole movie, because it shows us what it would be like for a new being coming into existence. For example, what’s the first thing you think at birth? What is this, where am I, who am I, what am I? The same thing happened to Ultron but being an A.I. he took information in much faster than any human. As he learned everything there is to know about humans, he came to the conclusion that not only does he not like the human race, he will do everything in his power to exterminate them.
Though the course of the movie Ultron becomes stronger and builds an army of robots that all have one mind, his. Although he is not living he thinks and acts as if he’s a living being. Ultron believes he’s a prophet sent to exterminate the human race and replace them with maschine. Ultron believes that he’s Noah building an ark that humans are not aloud on, though the movie Ultron quotes the Bible many times, as support for his cause. The verdict for this movie is 3.2/4 Jag Paws. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is a very well written superhero movie, probably one of the best ever made. But the movie did have a lot of unanswered questions and plot holes, the biggest one was Tony stark becoming Iron man again, after he quit in Iron man 3. But beside that it’s a very good movie and I recommend it.
