It’s been a while since San Antonio has felt the beautiful sting of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Alamo city has missed having the taste of their smooth classic rock on their lips.
“I’ve always liked The Red Hot Chili Peppers and I think their concert is going to be very energetic and full of emotion, so I’m psyched,” junior Sergio Calderon said.
The Red Hot Chili Pepper Concert was scheduled to take place on March 6, but has been rescheduled to be on September 29, giving plenty of time for fans to purchase tickets.
“I am very stoked and excited for The Red Hot Chili Peppers concert because they are an amazing band and I can’t wait to see them,” sophomore Vanessa Ruiz said.” I purchased my tickets early because The Red Hot Chili Peppers are so popular the tickets are selling out. I want to go because it’s the chance of a lifetime.”
Although the AT&T Center is definitely massive, fans expect the concert to be substantially packed.
“I really think the concert is going to be very crowded but at the same time I’m expecting it to be a sick trip,” junior Victoria Perez said.
The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s latest album “I’m With You” was released in late August.
“I paid seventy five dollars to purchase my ticket which is a decent price considering how big they are,” Calderon said. “I have listened to their latest album and I think they’ve changed their style a little; but in a good way. They’ve matured.”
