Greenback night hopes to bring back the green

Greenback night hopes to bring back the green

Annual PTA Greenback/Meet the Teacher Night is on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to go through their childʼs schedule, meet their teachers, and support the PTA. That night, donations will be accepted for this yearʼs Greenback fundraiser, as well as the opportunity to join the PTA.

A Johnson monogrammed cooler bag will be given to individual donors of $200 and up and  business donors of $250.  Greenback donations are the main funding source for various programs throughout the year including project graduation, faculty appreciation, drug & alcohol awareness and many more. The Johnson PTA is dedicating funds this year for canopies to protect students and staff when they eat their lunch outside. Your PTA will also work hard to further push the Distracted Driving Program to the campus throughout the year.

There is another fundraiser available to raise money for Johnson through Target Storesʼ “Take Charge of Education Program”. With their “Red Card”. Target will donate 1% of all credit or debit card purchases back to Johnson and the spender will save 5% on thier purchase at checkout. Target can link a Red Card debit card right to your existing bank account. Johnson High School Target #149552 will be needed to designate Johnson.
