Nader Syed, sophomore, won US Extemporaneous Speaking on Saturday at the O’Connor HS Speech and Debate tournament. This is Syed’s 3rd appearance in the final round of extemp and he has earned Johnson’s first Texas Forensic Association State tournament qualification for this school year. Syed also competed in Congressional Debate and placed 4th.
