Congratulations to the band members on earning a Superior Rating/Sweepstakes (Straight 1’s) at the UIL Region 12 Marching Contest yesterday and as a result, advancing to the UIL Area D Marching Contest in Round Rock, Texas. The AREA D Contest will bring together between 36-40 of the bands who earn Superior Ratings at their marching contests in a prelims/finals match-up at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex aka the “Parmer Palace” this coming Saturday October 26th. This is the same stadium they performed in on the 13th for the Texas Marching Class. The top ten bands from prelims will perform again Saturday night in finals, and the top 6-7 bands from this finals will receive an invitation to compete at the State Marching Contest at the Alamo Dome against the top high school bands from across Texas.
