The boys and girls golf teams had a successful run at this years District Golf Tournament. The boys’ team of Jake Goodman, Christian De La Cruz, Jake Judkins, Sean Meehan, and Marshall Martin finished 2nd this week, qualifying them for the Regional Golf Tournament. Jake Goodman also captured the individual title by winning a play off.
The girls team successfully defended their 2012 District Championship as they won the 2013 title. The ladies set a school record with an opening round 295. The Jags followed with a 310 on day 2 to win the title by 20 points. Additionally, Taylor Colemon won the individual title with a 4 under par 138 total. The team of Taylor Colemon, Nikki Long, Caileigh Reed, and Loryn Munoz will compete in the Regional Golf tournament.
