It’s finally 2015, and in the year of movies, there is a long list to cover.
Most of them are assumed to dominate the box office, making 2015 a big year in the movie industry. Marvel has three more for you this year.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron
May 1, 2015
This movie is the biggest movie Marvel’s releasing this year. The Avengers:Age of Ultron is going to show a darker side to the Marvel movies and help lead to other Marvel movies in the future. Age of Ultron is going to have one of the Avenger’s biggest enemies in the comic books-Ultron. Ultron is a robot supervillain that was made by Hank Pym – aka Antman – in the comic books, but Antman is not in this movie so that means they’re mixing it up a bit and making Tony Stark aka Iron Man the creator of Ultron. Fantastic Four
August 7, 2015
Although this movie is based on a Marvel comic, this movie is going to be made by 20th Century Fox, like the past Fantastic Four movies. Don’t expect to watch the comic book unfold before you on the big screen, but be ready for a whole new and unexpected twist. Unlike the past cast of Fantastic Four, be prepared to see a younger group hit the big screen.
Antman
July 17, 2015
After a long wait, Marvel has released a teaser for Antman this January. Some people who have never heard of Antman may be deterred from the movie. All I have to say is Antman is a small piece to a really big picture this movie will most likely help lead into the third installment of the Avengers franchise, so it will be worth it in the end. We all know them, many of us love them, and they typically lead to a cult following-books turned into movies. Much like Marvel films, a couple of these types of films are released every year and 2015 is no exception.
Fifty Shades of Grey
February 14, 2015
There’s been many rumors of this dirty book turning into a film most people didn’t believe, turns out all the rumors are true and Fifty Shades of Grey is coming this Valentine’s day. Now this movie is definitely not for first dates or any date at all really. You really don’t want to see this movie with anyone who’s in anyway related to you at all. My suggestion is to check out the trailer on your own time…
Insurgent
March 20, 2015
The second book to the Divergent series Insurgent is coming to theaters. If you haven’t seen the first here’s a quick run down. It’s a book about a dystopian America divided into different factions and one girl has to lead a rebellion to take down the government and it’s evil dictator.
You know that kinda sounds familiar…Check out the trailer here
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2
November 20, 2015
Speaking of the Hunger Games, The final movie to the Hunger Games franchise is coming and the fans can’t wait for it. With the last two movies ending on cliffhangers, fans are ready to see the ending of this big book to movie franchise. And if you haven’t seen it yet don’t worry. You have until November to catch up. By then, you can probably rent the other three films and await the November release.
I hope your ready for 2015 because there’s so many exciting movies coming this year. If you want to see what else is coming this year check out IMDb, Flixster and IGN.
