Johnson Varsity boys track claimed 2nd place at the NE Relays track meet last Saturday. Jacob Lady-Schreiber won the 100 and 200 meter dash and ran a leg on the 4 x 1 relay with Steven Warren, Kyle Brown and Chase Koll, finishing 3rd. Malachi Bauman broke the school record with a jump of 14′ in the pole vault and Romero Sylvester broke his own record in the Triple Jump with a winning jump of 46’7″. Steven Warren finished 4th in the open 100 and Zack Bradley finished 2nd in the 200 meter dash. The team will finish the regular season Wednesday night at Gus Stadium and then prepare for the district meet next week.
