By Molly Brodhacker | Staff Writer

Don’t be the one left out this fall when the hottest concerts “sell out” before you even have a chance to beg your mom for ticket money. Use our handy list of music events coming to our area to mark up your calendar and be ready to rock and roll.

Taylor swift singing to her fans.

Death Cab for Cutie, October 11th, Austin Music Hall

Hipsters do not fret! You haven’t been forgotten in this trusty list of music. The crooning group is making their rounds and didn’t forget a close neighboring city Austin, easily a drive worth taking for tp see this entertaining band. You might even catch a view of Zooey Deschanel, frontman Ben Gibbard’s wife!

Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull, October 13th, AT&T Center

If dancing is your thing, don’t miss this this concert. With two of the “hottest” names in music coming to our very own San Antonio, these tickets are going to be sold out in a flash.

Tribal Seeds, October 16th, Jacks Bar

Get your feel of the island mon’! Tribal seeds is a San Diego based reggae band that released their first album in 2008. After catching the eye of iTunes and being in the top 8 of itunes’ “best reggae of 2008”, they’re definitely worth checking out this October! Even better, this show is in San Antonio.

Adele, October 19th, Frank Erwin Events Center

We could have had it all! If only Adele would come to San Antonio. Thankfully, Austin is so close to us. Make the trek on the 19th to see the soulful crooner and her unique stage performance. Don’t expect an extravagant stage performance or creative set; Adele sits on a stool and just sings. But you will definitely get what you’re paying for… pure beautiful music.

Colbie Caillat, October 21st, Stubbs BBQ

Great music and great food, what more could you ask for? Located in downtown Austin, Stubbs BBQ has world renowned barbecue sandwiches and adult beverages for your parents. Then relax in their outdoor venue stage area and hear the “Bubbly” singer as you eat.

Taylor Swift, October 25th, AT&T Center

Of course everyone knows about the Taylor Swift concert coming to San Antonio, and who wouldn’t want to “drop everything now” and go to the show. Unfortunately, the show is sold out. You’ll probably be able to find a few outrageously priced tickets outside the venue on the night, or to test out your luck and call in KJ 97.3 radio station for a chance to win a pair; plus a meet and greet!

Gary Allan, November 12, Cowboys Dance Hall

Get your boots on and head on out to Cowboys Dance Hall! Located close to our own little Stone Oak bubble area, Cowboys in San Antonio is a spacious venue with lots of room for dancing and hanging out. Country legend, Allan, is sure to draw lots of fans, so get tickets early!

Mac Miller, November 16, Stubbs BBQ

18 year old rapping prodigy, “Easy Mac” Miller, hits up Austin on a Wednesday. Miller uses social networking sites to spread his music and appreciates his fans on a higher level, crediting them for his success. Tickets are only $20, and last time he visited they sold out, so jump on those tickets!
