Last night’s Texas Supreme Court ruling blocked the temporary mask mandates in the NEISD school district.

The NEISD mask mandate is still in effect, but will not be enforced by NEISD faculty members. Even though the mask mandate will not be enforced NEISD, still sees masks as necessary to keep schools open, and will continue to encourage people on campus to wear a mask.

If a student were to come to school without a mask or  wearing a mask incorrectly, they will not be corrected or given a mask by staff members.

Northside ISD is continuing to enforce its mask mandate for all staff and students on their campuses. And Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD will continue to allow students to choose if they want to wear a mask.
