THE MOISTURIZER THAT REIGNS SUPREME FOR ONE WRITER

Lately, I’ve been trying to find the best moisturizer that my dry, sensitive skin can handle and not self sabotage by getting random pimples or dramatically going red. I’ve experimented and tried a bunch of different moisturizers and these are my top picks.

Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion (price can vary depending on where you get it)

Cerave is my ride or die. It’s affordable and you get your money’s worth with how hydrating and how long the product lasts you. It’s my go to moisturizer for any occasion. The pump feature is convenient as it reduces messiness and I can control the amount I want from the container.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer (OFFICIAL WEBSITE $22.99)

The La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer is lightweight and extremely hydrating. It doesn’t feel oily on my skin and leaves it feeling so soft. When I tried it for the first time, I was skeptical about how my sensitive skin would react – I didn’t get any pimples or irritation from applying it or leaving it on the whole day. Another great thing about this moisturizer is that it also has spf 30 included which is better than no spf in my personal opinion. It also doesn’t leave any white cast like any spf product I’ve tried before. Overall, it’s a good moisturizer and definitely worth its price.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel (OFFICIAL WEBSITE $11.99 – $22.99)

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer is the first gel moisturizer and I have to say – it was an interesting experience. The texture was really cool and the consistency wasn’t too thin but also wasn’t too thick either. I was fully expecting the product to leave a white cast, but to my surprise there wasn’t any. After applying, it made my skin feel dewy and shiny giving it the viral “clean girl” aesthetic look.
