The air is finally getting colder and the great debate of what to watch on movie night begins. I have always been the biggest fall fan but when it comes to movies I would say I’m more of an experienced Christmas movie watcher. It was fun to dive in on Halloween movies and find the best one. I’ve put together a guide to help you navigate the endless streaming options and find the perfect film to haunt your screens this season. Whether you’re looking for a good scare or a heartwarming tale, there’s a movie for every mood.
Kid-Friendly
If you’re not ready to face the ghosts just yet, fear not! You can ease into the season with some delightful animated adventures. For a family-friendly film that still has the monster part of halloween, you can’t go wrong with Monsters Inc.. And if you’re in the mood for a fun monster mash-up, Hotel Transilvania is the perfect choice for a good time. If you’re looking for a good scare, but don’t want to lose sleep, Monster House is the best compromise.

The Classics
For those who want to get into the true spirit of Halloween, nothing beats the classics. You can’t go wrong with a classic like It’s theThe Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, which proves that the magic of Halloween is in the waiting. Casper is a timeless classic that shows us not all ghosts are meant to be feared, but some just need a friend.

The Old and the New Halloween Redo
You can’t go wrong with Beetlejuice(new or old version), a wacky and wonderful film that is full of ghoulish humor. There is classic The Addams Family Movie, or if you’re looking for a new TV series to binge watch then Wednesday has come out recently and is a great watch. And for a good old-fashioned ghost hunt, you can see how the new Ghostbusters holds up against the original.
