As TAKS approaches, seniors will participate in various activities while the remainder of the school is testing.
“We treat them with activities as senior privileges for 4 years of hard work,” Principal John Mehlbrech said.
At the beginning of the year, senior dues of $45 were collected to fund the upcoming activities. Each year, the senior class officers plan fun agendas for their classmates.
“We try and make the activities and plans better than the year before,” senior class officers said.
On March 10, the Senior vs. Faculty Basketball Game will be played at the Big Gym at 5:00 PM – tickets are $2.00. On April 26 and 27, there will be a senior field trip to Alamo Drafthouse; afterwards, seniors will go ice skating and play miniature golf.
