The Johnson varsity volleyball team was defeated this past Friday by the Lady Chargers by just one match. The Jags fought hard to win the first two matches but came up short in the last three.
Stand out players juniors Carnae Dillard, Ayssa Garcia, Jessica Teel and senior Analisse Shannon performed great kills and digs throughout the game. The Jags now stand 2-1 in district and 26-9 overall, dropping to #3 in the city according to the Express-News.
The varsity squad is up to play the #1 ranked Reagan Rattlers this Wednesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. at Littleton Gym.
